A unique chance to learn about the filmmaking industry in Cuba, from the perspective of professional screenwriter Hugo Rivalta (also Co-Director of HGFF)
Find out about film commissioning, script development and production in Havana and hear about Hugo’s own professional and personal journey. Hugo will also give tips and ideas regarding the creative process, with some useful practical exercises for budding writers.
Co-Director of Havana Glasgow Film Festival, Hugo is co-writer of the award-winning Cartoon Series “Pubertad” produced by the Animation Institute of the Cuban Institute of Cinematographic Art and Industry. His second television series for young people and adolescents – The Goats – is in production. He is currently writing his second novel.
This event is free but we welcome donations in order to make the Festival sustainable. Give what you can – on our eventbrite event page or on the door.
