Learn simple animation techniques with Cuban animator Ivette Ávila Martín
In November 2023, as part of our ninth festival and funded by Creative Scotland, Havana-based Cuban animator and educator Ivette Ávila Martín ran animation workshops for children aged 5-16 in Glasgow focusing on climate change. Click here for a taster of Ivette’s professional animation work.
Ivette believes anything can be animated! We’ve made these three videos to help get you started on your animation journey. Try them out if you’re a teacher, want to try out animation with a group you work with or if you just want to learn on your own!
