A Cuban Food Revolution
Cuban chef Dani Acosta serves up a typical Cuban dish to the good people of Kinning Park Complex in Glasgow. At the first event of HGFF 2019, organised by social business Kuche, Dr Helen Yaffe from the University of Glasgow gives an informative talk on the history of Cuban food, HGFF DJ Tiff Griffin finds out how refugees from El Salvador share the same food as Cubans and HGFF Director Eirene Houston talks about what’s in store at this year’s festival.
