Visual multimedia projection of footage from Dust and Metal by Esther Johnson – an archival cinematic journey of motorbike riding in Vietnam.
Dust and Metal brings together past and present stories of freedom in Vietnam. With a population of 97 million, and 45 million registered motorbikes (amongst the highest in South East Asia) that’s almost one bike for every two people.
Also screening as part of the Vietnamese Cultural Exchange Event on Saturday 15 November at 17:30.
Director of Dust and Metal, Esther Johnson, will be introducing The Story of Kindness or How to Behave on Saturday at 16:30, with a message from the film’s director Văn Thuỷ Trần.
