Laura de la Uz is a well-loved Cuban film, TV and theatre actor, twice winner of the Coral Award for Best Actress at Havana Film Festival. Her many films include Hello Hemingway, La película de Ana, La Pared de las Palabras, El Vestido de Novia and Yuli.
Laura returns to Glasgow (she was a guest at our Festival in 2018) to show clips from her films, talk about her career and the joys and challenges of working in Cuba and converse with the audience in her warm and engaging manner.
