This year’s Havana Glasgow Film Festival will run online from 10 –15 November and be packed full of the usual high quality mix of thought-provoking Cuban films, Cuban culture, debate as well as some special surprises. With a theme of EXTRAORDINARY CUBA, focusing on health and innovation in Cuba, this year’s film highlights will include The Extraordinary Journey of Celeste Garcia, about an invitation to another planet, Innocence – the true story about the unjust murder of Cuban medical students and Cuba: Living Between Hurricanes – a documentary about the resilience of the Cuban people in the face of extreme weather cycles.

Our cultural programme will include a Cuban Food Night with Chef Gary Maclean, an evening discussing Cuba’s innovative responses to COVID19 and Super Saturday Salsa Launch
